      I noticed a couple of the most obvious Pippi Longstocking references in this book as I was reading it, but I’m sure there are many which I missed having never read any of the Pippi stories. I hope to remedy this soon – I put some Pippi titles on hold at the library to familiarize myself with this popular Swedish character.
