As a former children’s librarian, I’ve told my share of stories.

I’ve been way into telling stories ever since I was a child.

My terminal project for my folklore degree was a video (1997) translating an Irish myth into a contemporary setting.

I often wonder what channels I might have created if the internet as it exists now had been around twenty-five years earlier.

When Covid came to town and shut everything down, I tried shifting parts of my Storytime to video content and shared it through the library’s Facebook page. I had limited success with this for a variety of reasons.

I currently have a YouTube channel – Fiber Snake Studios – where I experiment with getting more comfortable on video, try out different formats of videos, and show off my art (and some brewing).
