Not quite the weekend, but almost. Thursdays have a much different feel than Mondays, Tuesdays, or even Wednesdays.
I’ve been back in Tucson for over a week now, trying to find a groove.
I went for a favorite hike on Monday and it was great just being out in the hills.

And apparently, I don’t have enough unfinished projects, so I signed up for a workshop to learn how to twine a placemat from repurposed textiles. Finally a chance to use up some old sheets!

I’ve also been making time to work on my open warp wolf tapestry and create a short video showing the minis I made in NY.

If I get this done in time, I’ll show it off at the Pima County Fair this year. I’ve already been asked to set up the tapestry display. It’d be awesome to see the other open warps on display. I hope some of the members of the group will consider displaying. They are all incredible works.
