It’s finally finished!

I’m super impressed with this piece. It may not be as pretty as some of my other tapestries, but I think it might be one of the coolest.

It certainly is a very experimental piece. And it all started from trying to repurpose a kid’s toy as a frame.

And while I always repurpose fibers in my tapestries, this one has other repurposed items incorporated as well. In addition to the head frame, I used plastic tubes for body parts, beaded necklaces for trim, and even part of a kitchen utensil (for stability).

I definitely had to use out of the box thinking to plan and assemble this weaving.
