I’ve been so focused on getting packed up for moving. So many details….

And everything is falling into place. People are coming this weekend to load boxes onto a truck!

And I know where I’m going and that’s a relief. My good friends in Long Island told me this past week that their tenant had suddenly left and that they have an apt they want to rent to me!

It’s such a relief to not have to worry about the pets. My friends are pet friendly. And the apartment is a granny unit, so I’ll be next door neighbors.

My friends are pretty close to a place where I’ve been seeking part-time employment…. Fingers crossed – I should know something fairly soon.

And we even got some rain this past week.

It’s still brutally hot though and my son and I are both looking forward to ocean breezes.
