Life continues through organized chaos. I’m still deep in the process of getting ready to move across the country. Packing, sorting, coordinating, organizing, learning, connecting. So much to do. And things are getting done as they need to.

Fiber art has had to take a back step for now. I did sign up for the new Threads app, but I haven’t posted anything yet.

I also did take a few minutes to do a quick painting yesterday. I came across a cork board that I wanted to pack, but it had scribbles on it from when my son was a toddler. When I found some old paint, I knew what I wanted to do. It will likely be covered eventually with who knows what, but I think it looks better now than it did.

I’m a bit disappointed that I haven’t finished up with my elemental spirit series yet, but hopefully I can get to that this week. I did finish the earth spirit:

She has creosote arms and a palm fiber body. She also has some red and purple ribbons, jute twine, and various yarns. The eucalyptus branch that she hangs from is wrapped by her bit of sky. She will be in the store eventually, unless she finds a home before I get her listed. Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing.
