Working and playing

I took my son and dog camping last week. Just one night. We went to the campground close to where I had hiked with Rosie the previous week. It was so great to get out.

I realized after we got there that I had an adhd moment where I left my wallet and phone at home. Luckily, I had gotten the cash we needed directly into my pocket, so I didn’t have to drive back to town. But it meant no pictures and that I better watch my speed and not get pulled over when we headed back.

The moon was so bright! I love being out in moonlight.

It was a great camping experience.

I’ve been working (still) on getting my online store at Woven Bits into a functional state. At times I feel like I’m slogging through mud. I can see that I’m making progress, but (always) I’d like to be moving faster.

I keep reminding myself that it’s the journey that is important. And once I get everything set up, that will all be done. As Dory (and a former co-worker) would say, “Just keep swimming.”

So I’ve been plugging away at things and trying out different methods of getting through things. Like tackling projects in smaller chunks of time. Sometimes it helps. And remembering to play also helps.
