A new page

I spent most of the morning finishing up the website page I started working on yesterday. It’s Information wants to be free (on this website) highlighting my work in libraries.

I’ve also been busy trying to get my Grogu weaving finished. I’m getting close. Next, I need to figure out payment blocks for that website.

The thing I haven’t been working on very much is proofreading. I have a bunch of practice essays to work through. It’s hard to work up motivation for it now, so my goal is just one a day. The first one was about Facebook for businesses (and it took me two days).

Logic dictates that is should get a Facebook account (at least for my weaving). But I am often not logical and I just really don’t like Facebook.

I had an account and deleted it in 2020. I tried to sign back up recently to take advantage of a private Facebook group for proofreaders. Facebook denied me access. I got some message about community guidelines and something else about how they couldn’t verify who I was.

Ironically, I have two Instagram accounts. But Facebook can’t verify who I am….

I know I can get a business account for my business. But should I? If I can do fine without it, why should I?
