I, like many American women, am having some difficulties processing everything spewing from SCOTUS these days…..
My ability to focus is not where I would like it to be and my writing has been very short and erratic bursts meant only for journals – not for sharing.
So I have been experimenting with haiku.
The weight of the world
Falls on the backs of women
And men reap the fruit.
Juicy and sticky,
They promenade their fortunes:
O-bli-vi-ous jerks.
It has always been
The written stories say so.
But who writes these tales?
Distorting the truth
Has been renamed His Story.
Is one vision truth?
When Balance returns
They will crawl and beg and rant
Crying with their needs
If I could, I would
Bless them all with Macha’s gift.
Goddesses unite!
It’s time to get real.
What kind of world do we want?
We have the power.
I want to believe
In the possibility
Of the USA.
We the people can.
We the people must do so.
We the people will.
