It’s been a rough patch of life. Lots of ups and downs. At least the ups have been really good. Reconnecting with an old friend good. The kind of friend that might bring over bagels on a Sunday morning because she was in the neighborhood. Back when I used to eat bagels. And instead of knocking loudly on the door, just gently toss a pebble or two next to the window. So as to not wake the housemates.

Every day brings its own challenges. One of today’s challenges came at work today. I was actually feeling good for a bit – feeling like I was making progress on a project. Then I came around the corner and saw my coworkers dealing with a situation where someone was not feeling good at all.
