In chatting
With a storytime mom
As she was leaving with her
Three year old daughter,
I was comforted in knowing
That her son was also struggling
With kindergarten.
He is also a smart kid (like mine).
And while it’s disappointing
To know that our kids are
Struggling with our system
As they are first starting out,
It’s comforting to know
That we are not alone.
